中国包装联合会设计委员会(原中国包装技术协会设计委员会)成立于1981年，是专责拓展中国设计产业经济及对外设计文化交流的全国性专业机构。设计委是由设计工作者、团体、设计相关行业的企、事业单位自愿组成的经济、技术、学术组织。其宗旨是：“设计服务中国”。
设计委成立20多年来，积极为中国的设计事业和国际交流始终不遗余力地创新求变，以设计市场的经济发展为动力开拓自身的设计产业，主要有：1.提供行业技术评估与咨询；2.协助政府开展行业管理和社会公共活动建设；3.组织“中国之星”全国设计艺术大奖评比\中国品牌形象设计大奖评比；4.举办两年一届的国际设计博览会；5.组织编辑《中国设计年鉴》《设计山海经》等专业书\报刊；6.专门为设计师服务的网站WWW.chinadesign.org.cn。设计委已形成了以设计服务和管理为一体的全国性行业网络体系。

THE DESIGN COMMITTEE OF CHINA PACKAGING FEDERATION
CDC is an national organization which focus on developing
Chinese design economy and promoting the design cultural exchange
.CDC was founded in 1981, the design committee is consisted
of the companies, academies and designers which are related
to the design industry and pay more attention to economy,
technology as well as professional science. The theme of CDC
is to provide full service to the design field, furthermore
to impulse the development of Chinese design industry.
CDC is working hard on Chinese design enterprises, creatively
and warm-heartedly: offering the most valuable design information
and the trends of domain economy inside and outside china,
such as: collecting the most authoritative design info; providing
the evaluation and consultation on design technology; assisting
the national design enterprises join the competition in international
market; organizing the competition of "star of china"national
package and logo design award , and "the excellence package
designer in china" ; investigating the aptitude of Chinese
designers, helping to organize the area award selection; holding
the international design expo. Once every two years, editing
the professional publications "china design annual",
"design illation"; forming the national network
of design service and management.
